About Zemfira

Zemfira Ramazanova was born in Ufa in 1976 and moved to Moscow after Mumiy Troll's producer heard her demo tapes. Her self titled debut album came out in 1999, and singles such as Arivederchi went into heavy rotation on Russian radio. The follow up, Prosti menya moya lyubov, arrived in 2000 with Iskala and Khochesh?, and Iskala was also used in the film Brat 2. She writes and produces her own material and released her seventh studio album, Borderline, in 2021.
