About Veronika Fischer

The most successful female singer in East Germany, with Amiga records selling over 1.5 million copies. Blending rock, pop, chanson, and jazz, Fischer was a unique voice in DDR music. She left for West Berlin in 1981 after increasing restrictions on her work.
