Band led by Kees Dieffenthaller, whose songs give soca a melodic, radio-shaped quality without losing the road. Savannah Grass, released for Carnival 2019, took the Road March and became one of the most loved soca records of the decade, its title naming the grass of the Queen's Park Savannah where Carnival happens. The band tours well beyond the Caribbean. Their sound is the most exportable thing in contemporary soca.
