About Gerd Christian
Elder brother of Holger Biege, Gerd Christian broke through in 1979 with 'Sag ihr auch', composed by Holger and selling over one million copies, making it one of the DDR's biggest Schlager hits. The song has been covered dozens of times since reunification and remains a fixture of German-language pop.
