Famous is the stage name of Frederick Dapaye Peters, a Sierra Leonean singer and songwriter who runs his own label, Fame Entertainment. His early video Rise Up, from an album of that name made around 2011, was shot in the Kroo Bay neighbourhood of Freetown. Songs such as Brighter Future (2017) and Winner (2021) set the motivational tone of much of his writing. One Life, released in September 2023, and No Pressure in 2025 are his biggest YouTube hits, and No Pressure also came out through BSK Music.
