Ricardo Montaner is one of the most successful balada singers in Latin American history. Born in Argentina but raised in Venezuela, where he launched his career and long held citizenship, he became a romantic-pop institution from the mid 1980s with soaring hits like La Cima del Cielo and Tan Enamorados. Decades on he still fills arenas, and as the patriarch of a musical family that includes the duo Mau y Ricky and his daughter Evaluna, he remains a central figure in contemporary Latin pop.
