One of the central voices of Persian pop across six decades, from the Tehran scene of the 1970s through the Los Angeles diaspora industry that rebuilt it after 1979. Shabzadeh is among his best known recordings. He has kept a stadium-scale touring career among Iranians abroad for decades. His records are a fixture of the Taraneh catalogue that carried this music through the 1980s and 90s.
