About Julie Berthelsen
Singer born in Nuuk who finished second on the Danish series Popstars in 2002 and went on to a larger career than the winner. Her debut Home appeared in 2003 and Every Little Part of Me made her the most commercially successful artist Greenland has produced. She has recorded in English, Danish and Greenlandic, and stayed a familiar presence on Danish television and stages since. Her success is usually read at home as proof that a Greenlandic artist could reach a mainstream Nordic audience.
