About Aavaat

Vocal group whose 2008 album Qooquaqqat gathered Greenlandic songs in close harmony arrangements. The record sits closer to community and choral singing than to the rock and pop around it, which is a large part of Greenlandic musical life and rarely reaches a catalogue. They also recorded with Julie Berthelsen. Atlantic Music released the album in Nuuk.
