About Klapa
Klapa is the multipart a cappella singing of Dalmatia, traditionally performed by small groups of men harmonizing about love, the sea, and wine. UNESCO inscribed it as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2012. The tradition moved from stone-alley gatherings to festival stages through the annual Omiš festival, and modern ensembles like klapa Intrade brought it to arena-scale popularity, often backed by discreet instrumentation.
