Rap in Greenlandic, running from Nuuk Posse, who started in the mid 1980s and were among the first to put the language into hip-hop, to Tarrak and Peand-eL today. The scene is small enough that the same handful of producers and guests appear across most records. Its subject matter tends toward language, identity and life in Nuuk rather than imported imagery.
