Russian art-pop covers songwriter-led projects that combine pop hooks with literary lyrics, electronic textures and personal or ironic perspectives. Monetochka and Manizha are its most prominent voices of the late 2010s and 2020s, each writing songs that comment directly on the world around them. Kedr Livanskiy and Flaty's duo Kosaya Gora extends the style into quieter, folk-tinged territory.
