About Zorán Sztevanovity

Zorán is the Serbian-Hungarian singer who became one of the steadiest voices in Magyar pop. After fronting the influential 1960s beat band Metro alongside brother Dušan, he went solo in the late 70s and built a four-decade catalogue of warm, baritone Hungarian ballads written by his brother and frequent collaborator Levente Szörényi. "Apám hitte" and "Romantika" became the kind of songs every Hungarian wedding and birthday eventually returns to, and his Aréna concerts have run as Hungarian institutional events for thirty years.
