Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, modernized fuji music and made it a glamorous, mainstream sound. Mentored by Barrister, he developed the smoother Talazo fuji style and brought the genre to weddings, parties, and television across Nigeria. He remains the reigning king of fuji and one of the country's most enduring entertainers.
