About Vangelis

A self-taught musical prodigy, Vangelis became one of the most influential electronic and film composers of the twentieth century. His Academy Award-winning score for Chariots of Fire and his haunting Blade Runner soundtrack defined the sound of synthesizer-driven cinema. He co-founded the progressive rock group Aphrodite's Child with Demis Roussos before embarking on a legendary solo career.
