Tito Paris is a central figure of the Lisbon Cape Verdean scene, a singer, bassist, and bandleader who helped keep morna and coladeira thriving in the diaspora. From Mindelo, he moved to Portugal and became a fixture of its Cape Verdean clubs, backing Bana and others before stepping out front. His signature Dança Ma Mi Criola is one of the most beloved coladeiras of its era.
