About The Hives

The Hives are a Fagersta garage-rock band known for matching suits, explosive live shows, and the showmanship of frontman Howlin' Pelle Almqvist. Their 2000 single Hate to Say I Told You So rode the early-2000s garage-rock revival to international fame. Their sound is fast, loud, and built for the stage, with a self-mythologising sense of humour. After a long gap they returned in 2023 with new music and the same relentless energy.
