t.A.T.u. was a Moscow pop duo of Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova, assembled by producer Ivan Shapovalov. Their first single, Ya soshla s uma, premiered in December 2000 and became a major hit in Russia ahead of the 2001 debut album 200 po vstrechnoy. English versions of the songs followed, and All the Things She Said reached number one in the United Kingdom and several other countries. The duo represented Russia at Eurovision in 2003, finishing third, and split in 2011.
