Siddharta

About Siddharta

Siddharta are the Slovenian rock band that crossed the threshold from cult to stadium. Formed in Mengeš in 1995, their second album "Nord" (2001) sold over 25,000 copies in a country of two million, and 2003's "Infra" turned them into a national institution. "Lunanai" is the song Slovenia sings back at festivals, and their stop at Stožice arena in 2007 was the largest concert in Slovenian history at that point. They write in Slovene, build melodies that sit between alternative rock and stadium pop, and have shaped what rock means in Slovenia for two decades.
