Savage Garden were an Australian pop duo, singer Darren Hayes and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Jones, who became a global sensation in the late 1990s. Their polished, romantic pop yielded some of the era's biggest hits, including Truly Madly Deeply and the worldwide number one I Knew I Loved You. Though they released only two albums before splitting in 2001, they remain one of Australia's most successful musical exports.
