About Los Amigos Invisibles
Los Amigos Invisibles are Venezuela's slickest musical export, a Caracas group who turned 1970s funk, disco, and acid jazz into a joyous, tongue-in-cheek party sound. Discovered by David Byrne, who signed them to his Luaka Bop label in the late 1990s, they built an international touring career and won a Latin Grammy. Their groove-heavy records and irresistible live shows made them cult favorites far beyond Venezuela.
