About Kygo
Kygo, born Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll in Singapore and raised in Bergen, invented tropical house and became the most commercially successful Norwegian artist of the streaming era. His 2014 single Firestone and his remix work made him the fastest artist to reach a billion Spotify streams at the time. He performed at the closing ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics and released the posthumous Avicii tribute and an Whitney Houston collaboration. He founded the Palm Tree Records label and the Palm Tree Crew brand, and continues to headline festivals worldwide.
