About Kev Carmody

Bundjalung and Lama Lama songwriter whose collaborative writing with Paul Kelly produced From Little Things Big Things Grow (1991), the song about the 1966 Gurindji walk-off that has become an Indigenous land-rights anthem. Pillars of Society (1989) and Thou Shalt Not Steal made Carmody one of the most politically incisive songwriters of the Indigenous renaissance.
