About Ivy Queen
Ivy Queen, known as La Caballota and La Diva, is the defining woman of reggaetón and one of its most important voices. Emerging from the male-dominated underground of the 1990s, she claimed space with commanding flows and songs of female desire and independence. Her anthem Quiero Bailar became a feminist touchstone of the genre, and she remains a revered pioneer who opened the door for the women who followed.
