IV of Spades are a Manila band who sparked a retro revival in Filipino music, dressing 1970s funk, soul, and glam rock in dazzling vintage style. Bursting out in the late 2010s, they won a young audience with their infectious grooves and theatrical flair, and the ballad Mundo became a modern OPM standard. Their throwback sound helped set the tone for a new generation of Filipino bands.
