About Issac Delgado

After early years with NG La Banda, Issac Delgado launched his own orchestra in 1991 and quickly became the smooth, elegant counterweight to the rougher edges of timba. His warm tenor and sophisticated arrangements made him a favourite on the Cuban dance floor and earned him a steady international career, including a long residency in the United States from 2007 before returning to Havana to record.
