About Gotye

Gotye is the Belgian-Australian multi-instrumentalist behind one of the biggest songs of the 2010s. His 2011 single Somebody That I Used to Know, a duet with fellow New Zealand-raised artist Kimbra, topped charts in more than two dozen countries and won the Grammy for Record of the Year. Built from a sampled Luiz Bonfá guitar loop, it became a defining global pop moment.
