About G.E.M.

Born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong, G.E.M. broke through at sixteen with the 2008 album 18 and has since become the highest-streaming female pop star in Greater China. Her ballad 泡沫 made her a household name across the mainland and 光年之外 (the Chinese theme to the 2017 film Passengers) is the most-streamed Chinese song on Spotify. Her 2022 concept double album GLORIA leaned into religious imagery and stadium electronic production.
