About Frankie Knuckles

Frankie Knuckles was the Godfather of House Music. As resident DJ at Chicago's Warehouse club from 1977, he blended disco, soul, and drum machines into a new genre that took its name from the venue. Your Love and The Whistle Song are house music's founding documents, and he won the first Grammy for Remixer of the Year.
