About France Gall

France Gall was a defining figure of the ye-ye movement who won the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg with the Gainsbourg-penned 'Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son.' She reinvented herself in the late 1970s through her partnership with Michel Berger, producing some of the biggest French pop hits of the era. Her career spanned over three decades, moving gracefully from teenage pop idol to mature artist. Gall remains one of the most beloved French female artists of the 20th century.
