About Demis Roussos
Born to a Greek family in Alexandria, Roussos sold over 60 million albums and became one of the most successful international pop artists of the 1970s. As a founding member of Aphrodite's Child alongside Vangelis, he helped pioneer progressive rock in Europe. His soaring tenor and dramatic ballads made him a global phenomenon.
