About D'banj
D'banj, the self-styled Koko Master, was one of the first Nigerian artists to break afrobeats internationally. His 2011 smash Oliver Twist charted across the UK and earned him a deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music, a landmark moment for the genre's global rise. A charismatic showman and harmonica-wielding entertainer, he helped define the sound and swagger of modern Nigerian pop.
