Calle 13
About Calle 13
Calle 13 was the boundary-breaking duo of stepbrothers René Pérez Joglar (Residente) and Eduardo Cabra (Visitante), who took reggaetón's platform and turned it toward biting satire, orchestral experimentation, and pan-Latin American politics. Their genre-defying songs, from the provocative Atrévete-te-te to the sweeping anthem Latinoamérica, made them the most awarded act in Latin Grammy history. They redefined how far Puerto Rican urban music could reach artistically.
