BTS is a seven-member group formed by Big Hit Entertainment that debuted in June 2013. The group rose from a mid-size act to a global juggernaut, breaking sales and streaming records and becoming the first Korean act to top the US Billboard Hot 100. Their 2015 tracks I Need U and Dope marked their first major domestic breakthrough, while DNA in 2017 expanded their international reach. The English-language singles Dynamite in 2020 and Butter in 2021 both hit number one in the United States.
