As frontman of The Wailers alongside Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, he fused roots reggae with Rastafari spirituality and universal themes of love and resistance. His album Exodus was named album of the century by Time magazine, and 'One Love' was named BBC Song of the Millennium.
