About Anri

Anri debuted at sixteen and became one of the central female voices of the city-pop era through a long collaboration with composer Toshiki Kadomatsu. Her 1983 single Cat's Eye, written for the anime of the same name, sold a million copies, and the slightly earlier Last Summer Whisper has had a second life as one of the genre's global YouTube standards.
