About Amy Hānaialiʻi Gilliom

The most successful female Hawaiian vocalist of the modern era, credited with reinvigorating the tradition of women's falsetto singing. A six-time Grammy nominee and winner of more than twenty Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, she blends traditional Hawaiian song with contemporary arrangements. Her long collaboration with the late Willie K produced some of the most acclaimed Hawaiian albums of the 1990s and 2000s. She remains Hawaii's top-selling female recording artist.
