About Alejandro Fernández
Alejandro Fernández, son of Vicente Fernández, broke through in 1992 with a self-titled album of traditional rancheras backed by mariachi and then expanded into Latin pop on Me Estoy Enamorando (1997). El Potrillo, as fans call him, has won three Latin Grammys and become the principal voice carrying the family ranchera tradition into the 21st century while moving between mariachi suites, romantic pop, and arena tours with Vicente in the late 2010s. His 2024 single No Es Que Me Quiera Ir continues an unbroken release schedule that now spans more than 30 years.
