About Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette grew up in Ottawa as a teen-pop singer before reinventing herself for the Jagged Little Pill era. The 1995 album sold more than 33 million copies, becoming one of the defining records of 1990s alternative pop, and her voice carried a generation of women into rock radio. She continues to record and tour, with Such Pretty Forks in the Road landing in 2020.
