Zapato 3 was one of the biggest Venezuelan rock bands of the 1990s. Formed in Caracas in the late 1980s and fronted by Chino Palacios, they brought anthemic, guitar-driven rock to stadiums across the country and the wider region. Songs like Tú Estás Escrita en Mí made them a staple of Latin American rock radio, and they were among the acts that carried Venezuelan rock to its commercial peak.
