VST & Company were the disco kings of the Manila Sound, a large ensemble that set the country dancing in the late 1970s. Their irresistible Awitin Mo at Isasayaw Ko became the definitive Filipino disco anthem, and their run of hits made them one of the biggest acts of the era. They fused Western dance-floor grooves with Filipino melody and language, capturing the exuberance of Manila nightlife.
