Triana

Über Triana

Triana were the defining band of rock andaluz, fusing progressive rock with flamenco in 1970s Seville. Their 1975 debut El Patio is a cornerstone of Spanish rock, blending electric guitars with cante and Andalusian melody. Led by Jesús de la Rosa, they gave Spanish rock a distinctly local identity during the country's transition to democracy. The band ended after de la Rosa's death in 1983.
