Über Şebnem Ferah

Şebnem Ferah is the first lady of Turkish rock. She fronted the all-female band Volvox before her 1996 solo debut Kadın, and Sil Baştan in 2001 became one of the biggest rock songs ever recorded in Turkish. Her powerful voice and hard-rock arrangements opened the genre to a generation of women.
