Über Parni valjak

Parni valjak, formed in Zagreb in 1975, defined Croatian mainstream rock for nearly five decades. Guitarist Husein Hasanefendić wrote the songs and Aki Rahimovski's raspy, warm voice delivered them, turning ballads like Jesen u meni into standards across the former Yugoslavia. Rahimovski's death in 2022 closed the classic chapter of one of the region's most loved live bands.
