Über Nyusha

Nyusha is a Moscow-born pop singer and songwriter who broke through in 2010 with Vybirat chudo, the title track of her debut album. She writes much of her own material and scored a run of number-one singles in Russia in the early 2010s, including Vyshe and Vospominanie. She won Best Russian Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2011 and 2014 and later coached on the children's edition of The Voice in Russia. Her father, Vladimir Shurochkin, was a member of the 1980s group Laskovyi Mai.
