Maná
Über Maná
Maná, formed in Guadalajara in 1986 around Fher Olvera and Alex González, became the most commercially successful rock band in Spanish-language music. Their breakthrough album ¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños? in 1992 sold more than 10 million copies and built their signature sound — reggae, ska, and ballad rock with environmental and migrant themes. Four Grammys and nine Latin Grammys followed. They have headlined arenas across Latin America, the US, and Spain almost continuously since the mid-1990s, with the Vivir Sin Aire and Rayando el Sol tours among the highest-grossing in Latin music.
