Singer who belongs to the first generation of Equatoguinean artists to record abroad, cutting his albums in French studios for the Afrogui label. Tan Solo Si... Tan Solo No arrived in 1980, arranged and produced by the Cameroonian makossa specialist Toto Guillaume with musicians drawn from the Douala and Paris session circuit. Y'on Sofa followed in 1984 and Café in 1986, all of them pairing his voice with horn-led arrangements built for dancing. His name reached a new audience in 2026 when Nanda Nfá released Y'onssofaha as a tribute to him.
