Hladno pivo grew from a Zagreb garage punk joke into Croatia's most durable punk-rock institution. Frontman Mile Kekin's witty, socially barbed lyrics turned songs like Zimmer frei and Teško je ful biti kul into generational singalongs. For nearly three decades their concerts were a rite of passage for every Croatian teenager with a guitar.
