G-Dragon is the leader of BIGBANG and the artist most often called the king of K-pop. His solo albums Heartbreaker and Coup d'Etat set the template for the idol-as-auteur, and his fashion influence rivals his music. After seven years away he returned in 2024 with Home Sweet Home and in 2025 with Übermensch and the single Too Bad, both of which topped the Circle chart.
