Über Ezhel

Ezhel helped shift Turkish rap toward a fluid mix of hip-hop, reggae, trap, and Anatolian melodic influence. His 2017 album Müptezhel became a landmark for a generation consuming music primarily through streaming. Working from Berlin, he has continued to address migration, identity, nightlife, and political pressure.
